Pauline's passion has always been singing, songwriting and love of being in the bright lights of the stage but there is a side to her you may not know unless you follow her on instagram. During her down time, off the road she loves to cook for her family, friends and even sometimes neighbors. Growing up in a family of eight kids everyone helped with chores and Pauline's was helping her older sisters and mother cook. She's compiled old time Texas recipes and given them a healthy twist! As Pauline says "I love home cooked meals but still have to make my jeans look good on stage". We hope you enjoy a little bit of Texas to your Table!

    • Such an exciting time for Pauline Reese who just got off tour as Michael Martin Murphey’s rhythm guitar player and opening act. Not only did her duet with Murphey stay in the top ten on Billboard Bluegrass Charts for over twenty weeks, the album Red River Drifter was just named Deep Roots Magazine top album of 2013! Nashville based renown producer’s Pat Flinn and Ryan Murphey sing her praises as a certain authenticity of outlaw early Austin sound that made the album shine! Pauline sang background vocals on most of the album and once they heard her in the studio they had her sing on Shake it Off as a duet. Murphey had no trouble deciding that this was the stand out single that had to be released! Known for writing and releasing many hits including “Wild Fire”, “Long Line of Love”, “Cherokee Fiddle” and many others he didn’t miss on having Pauline sing on “Shake it Off”. The song is a catchy uplifting way of shaking off life’s troubles. Reese says “On the tour everyone was standing up and dancing from the first line, which proceeded to an encore. It was an honor to be on the album and standing next to a legend on stage as a part of the band! A memory that won’t soon be forgotten”.

    • Reese is currently working on her 7th album including a duet with Willie Nelson which will be the first single released! She spent this last summer in New Mexico writing with Murphey, his son Ryan Murphey and others including Gary P. Nunn and Bob Livingston. The album is set to release this summer and is a culmination of the many years of writing and touring. “It’s all of the life’s lessons, the ups and downs of being on the road and years of studying up close with some of the best songwriters in the biz all rolled into one album” Reese says. This album cannot be pigeon holed into country, americana or folk/rock genre of music which is exactly what Reese was shooting for. “It’s just life’s music and my life happens to be a never ending adventure”.

    • You can find Murphey’s Red River Drifter album as well as all six of Reese’s albums on itunes or on their respective websites. Music that is a must hear!

    • Every now and then, you come across a piece of musical product that is just – good. You can write a list of flashy adjectives to describe it, but at the end of the day, it’s just plain and simple good. I don’t think that’s correct grammar, but it doesn’t matter. Texas artist Pauline Reese is one of the best artists I have heard in a long time. And, that’s not just a bunch of hype. It’s rare that you hear an album from a newcomer that needs absolutely and positively – nothing. All this album needs is to be heard. Read Full Article

    • "I am full of surprises," sings Pauline Reese on opener "Just Getting Started," and the Austinite's not kidding. Reese challenges Carrie Underwood for Nashville good looks, but she's a crack Texas songwriter ("First Love") in the tradition of Dolly Parton ("Beautiful Shame," "Front Porch Sunday") and spends half the year on the road honing that craft. Reese isn't afraid to demand your attention; listen up.
